Without looking at Paul's script (but he is a smart guy - he and I have lifted a few together), I can't tell exactly what it is checking.
That being said, Outlook doesn't report on DeletedItemRetention or SingleItemRecovery data. I would guess that Paul's script is reporting on those. Tell me the link, and I'll take a look. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Maglinger, Paul Sent: Tuesday, November 17, 2015 4:45 PM To: New Exchange List ([email protected]) Subject: [Exchange] Discepancy between Powershell report and Outlook folder size Exchange 2010, SP2 UR 6. I found a Powershell script by Paul Cunningham called Get-MailboxReport.ps1 that would go out and get the mailbox size of everyone one of them in the enterprise. We have one user that when the report came back said he had 2.8G in his mailbox. This was particularly odd because I set his mailbox quota at 750MB. I open his mailbox in Outlook and check the folder size there and it comes back 558MB. So, which one do I believe and if the PowerShell is correct, how do I get this back in sync? Said user is using a Mac, but we have other Mac users that the quota does work - and their mailboxes look okay. Anyone else seen this? -Paul
