Pretty much what Michael said.

I would just add that if you do the forklift approach, you will need to move
all the users at the same time. Otherwise forwarding gets ugly.

Are you doing hybrid or are you doing a forklift?

If you are doing hybrid, then you just need to have all the accounts in a
separate OU so that they can be identified by AADsync.

If you are doing a forklift, you just have to put the list of accounts into a
CSV for a cutover migration.

Subject: [Exchange] Moving one domain only from Exchnage 2013 to Office 365

Hi,

We have a setup with 4 domains on one Exchange 2013 infrastructure.

3 of the domains are proxy addresses to the existing user accounts.

1 domain has its own set of user accounts.

We are looking to move the domain with its own user accounts off to Office 365
and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on doing this, as I am struggling
to find out through google.

thanks

graeme
