No prob. After looking at the command it looks to be a bit wrong.

The conduit permit statement should look like this...

Conduit Permit TCP host x.x.x.x (IP address) eq 25 any any

You can specify a subnet mask following the IP address, but it is not necessary.

Very familiar...

Disable the fixup for SMTP on the PIX and then specify a conduit to your exchange server.

Something like this...

No fixup protocol SMTP 25, basically, just put "No' in front of whatever the "fixup" says at the top of your config.

TO enable mail...

Conduit permit tcp host x.x.x.x (Public IP) x.x.x.x (Internal IP) eq 25 any

That's why I queued Don. He is very familiar with the issues that PIX has
with ESMTP. I've never used PIX. I might if it were free.

Is there a way to be able to check the email's route through the firewall?
I know Firewall-1 has this feature but I am unsure of PIX..

I'd delete the IMC and then reinstall it, then reservice pack it.
