Title: Exchange 5.5 sp3 NT4 Sp6a
This is a rule set up on the client but stored on the server and works whether or not the client is on. It's how I keep track of my real mail and the millions of lists I am on. Set up the folder and then create the rule on the client that moves mail there based on the criteria that works best for the situation, from address, header text, whatever there are any choices. Make sure to click on the stop processing after processing this rule box or you may find yourself with multiple copies of messages in multiple folders.

I think that rule would be client-side only, and thus would require Outlook to be running.

Alternatively, subscribe a PF to the list to receive the messages, then have the user set their subscription to "No Mail" or "Web Only" so that they can still post.

Just a quick question... How can I set up a user to have there Mailing list messages recived moved to a specific folder so that there not clogging up there inbox ?

I know I can set up a rule but this is only active when the client is running ? How can I automate this so it happens on the server ?

You comments gratefully received.

Client is outlook 2000

Kind Regards

Paul
