Ok this is the first
time I have seen this.. but here goes..
Win2k Laptop SP2.
Outlook 2000 for Exchange 5.5 SP3(maybe 4)
Anyhow, the outlook
is setup for synchronize even though he hardly ever takes it. The past week he
has a couple of reminder events that say they conflict with each other.
Basically, there is an event on 9/4 and 9/8 they are the same, and what happens
is the one for 9/4 doesnt pop until 9/8. If you goto delete one, it states there
is an error or conflict which item do u wish to keep or something
similar.
My initial guess is
that his secretary is copy/pasting calendar events into his, and moving them
around the same way, instead of retyping them. That, mixed with the
synchronization when he shuts down is causing this event to duplicate, or at
least not understand both objects. Hope that makes sense, I told his secretary
to not copy/paste calendar items, and I took him off synchronize offline. Any
one else seen this?
