Call PSS, if they can't recover the DS for whatever reason, you still got hope.  They can rebuild it doing a consistency adjustment (involved a reinstall of Exchange and restore of the database), call PSS and see what they can do.

I cannot get the DS to start.  That means I cannot run Isinteg -patch either.

Subject: Restore Exchange Directory (DS) from off-line backup

Hi everyone:

Could anyone give me some pointers or point me to some links on how to recover the Exchange Directory from an off-line backup?  So far, I've tried ESEUTIL /R /DS and ESEUTIL /P /DS didn't seem to work.

Thanks for your suggestions,

Ken...
