No
problem. Plus, you have to
remember that since it is the client, (OLSecPatch), it doesn’t actually delete
the attachment, it only blocks access to it. If you were to access that e-mail from another computer that
didn’t have the patch installed, you would be able to get to the offending
attachment just fine. I read in
one of your later posts that you had NAV for Exchange. I would try and do some more checking,
maybe even a call to Symantec, regarding the attachment blocking. It is hard to understand that it would
limit you on the number of attachments it can block, but there are plenty of
things that we don’t understand whey they are. Hope you get this resolved. Ben

wasn't the server. Thanx -----Original Message----- NO! It
blocks them on the Client side.
You are, after all, relying on a security patch on the Client to enforce
those settings. Blocking them on
the server is having an AV package strip them as they are scanned, before they
get into the Information Store.
More clear? Ben

here... So the admin pack does not block them on the server???? -----Original Message----- That's not blocking them on the server! Phil --------------------------------------------- -----Original

you have the lastest security patches installed, you can use the FREE admin
pack to specify what file attachments to block. http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/admin.htm -----Original

could try unplugging the network cable... --------------------------------------------- >
