If you're already authenticated you shouldn't be prompted for credentials,
unless you try to access a resource you don't have access to.  For example
when I enter http://mail/exchange from the internal network OWA transports
me to my mailbox.  If I enter http://mail/exchange/otherusername/inbox I
will be prompted for logon credentials as my account doesn't have access
to other mailboxes.
