Hello All,

I am sorry if my question is too long

When I attempt to log on to another user's mailbox by providing the proper
credentials I get an error "unable to open your default email folders. You do
not have permission to log on. Would you like to open your default file system
folder instead".
>From the Microsoft site I learn it is IPC$ share problem. By running "net use
\\servername\IPC$ /user:username" from the desktop, I could fix the problem.

This worked very well for months. Now suddenly the same problem has appeared
and has become a regular problem. More annoyingly the dial up users is having
the same problem, even though they are trying to view their own mailbox. It is
hard to convince all the users to run this command each time they dial in. Is
there a permanent fix for this problem. We use exch5.5 on NT4.0 which being
our DC too.

TIA
Mal
