we had several outside contact names that showed up in GAL because when we
hid them, they couldn't log into OWA. We had created an additional "dummy"
mailbox/folders for each of these outsiders just so that they can view
public exchange folders aswell as their own folders (dummy mailboxes)
(infoflow)....the problem is that their names, both dummy accounts and
actual e-mail names show up in GAL. Your link helped me realise that I can
re-structure the GAL so that their names are not visible in GAL; hence,
hiding them without actually enabling the Hide option box in advanced tab of
exchange....and still manage to get them to log into OWA. that's the
workaround. whew!

and remember; where there's a will....there's a relative!
