Thanks, guys!

Just so I've got this right, you're saying these extra "hidden" CA fields
cannot be added into the Mailbox Details Template that we're editing (i.e.
the Property screen you see when you right-click on a name in the GAL).
But I assume they can be exported; we're setting up a central employee
information database which extracts info from our HR, Exchange, and Telecom
databases and then feeds shared information back to those databases ... and
I assume that these fields could be used for that purpose. Please correct
me as required.

These are special or "hidden" CAs. They can only be added in Raw Mode of
Exchange Admin or programmatically. They are not viewable from the standard
client. They provide a useful means of attaching Directory data to mailboxes
which users cannot see. To add do the following:

1) Start Exchange Admin in Raw Mode. Use admin /R
2) Select the Mailbox you wish to add CAs to and press Shift-Enter
3) In the "list attributes of type" listbox select Nonexisting
4) In the list of Object Attributes you should now see Custom Attributes
11-15 as well as CAs 1-10 (provided you haven't already allocated any of
these)
5) Select the CA you wish to add and then complete the Edit Field section.
Don't forget to click Set!

I keep coming across references to Custom Attributes 11-15 (ex: Q247030).
How do I enable these extra fields? Can't find anything in the DS Site
Configuration tabs, or in Technet.
