No, actually I tried to install it and it said, "MS EXCHANGE SERVER MAILBOX
MANAGER SETUP WAS UNABLE TO ASSIGN THE SERVICE ACCOUNT THE LOG ON AS SERVICE
RIGHT BECAUSE THIS MACHINE IS ACTING AS A BDC FOR YOUR NETWORK. PLEASE USE
THE WINDOWS NT USER MANAGER TO CONFIRM THAT THE MICROOSFT EXCHANGE SERVER
MAILBOX MANAGER SERVICE ACCOUNT HAS THE LOG ON AS A SERVICE RIGHT"

We have a mixed domain, NT 4.0, sp6a, E5.5, Sp4. It then quits and says "Buh
Bye". Well, not exactly, but you get the point.

Could you provide more information on this, I run it on several BDC's with
no ill-effects. Is this a limitation you found through testing, a case with
PSS, a technet article?

***Almost*** did the trick, except it doesn't run on BDC's, which
all of my EX servers are (with the exception of those on W2k, which it also
does not run on). We were in the process of AD migration which would have
led to the E2K migration when 9/11 happened and all travel/ spending was
cancelled. Apparently, few are travelling, especially those of us in the
travel industry... Thank you for all of your help everyone!

The Mailbox Manager. Lots of information in TechNet on the subject.

Other than a manual "Clean Mailbox" every 30 days, is there any other
way (3rd party tool or otherwise) to clean out all mailboxes of mail
older than 30 days? Exchange 5.5 platform.

Thank you!
