Title: RE: Outlook Licenses with Exchange?

Since no one on this list can quote MS licensing policies, it would be best to contact your MS Licensing Rep.  Heck, ask the guy you are buying Exchange from.  They should be able to answer it for you.

Scott,

It will come with Exchange Client Access Licenses (how many varies), so users can connect to the Exchange server, but not for the Outlook program itself.

Hi,
Our company is moving to Exchange and we will be purchasing Exchange 2000
cals. I read somewhere (I think on this list) that you get Outlook licenses
when you by Exchange. Is this accurate? Can someone elaborate? We have a
number of clients who need email but don't have Office.
