There were no errors logged for the IS at all. I have just checked the logs again, and the only ones logged are the ones below.
I will the check the site out. I noticed there was an entry in the KB about the IS stopping when it's processing SMTP mail. They all point to Network Problems, but I have checked everywhere, I have also updated all Network Card Drivers etc. Network Cards are 3 x Intel Server Adapters using Fast EtherChannel. I posted to this list some time ago with the same problem, but then it seemed to go away. However it has now returned. The information store appeared to just stop in it's tracks and write a Dr. Watson log. Having restarted it, it stoppped again, and in the end the only apparent solution was to restart the server.
