The Exchange guy says his servers just set up to forward all SMTP direct to MAILHUB, and the VMS guy says his DNS resolves OK. He's not the most reliable guy in the world, so I can't guarantee he's done things properly, which is why I'd like to check, rather than just passing the buck left and right. But yes, DNS was my initial thought, but I hadn't reckoned on more than one dept being involved in this...the NT/VMS competitive streak comes in here, everyone wanting to prove their system's on top of everything and never goes wrong...

MAILHUB's admin is saying that Exchange is delivering the NDR, hence it's exchange that's got the problem. MessageLabs say they can handle .biz without problems. I know it's not a lot to go on, but can anyone give me any idea as to where the problem lies? The problem with my situation is that whoever has the problem has to do work if they admit it, and blaming someone else is a lot easier for everyone except me, who has to return to the users with a fixed email system!
