Well, I have done this one!

Hopefully, they are using WorldMail as a POP.  This means that you can set all the clients (if they aren't there already) to remove the mail from the server.
Then, simply execute each client.  I did this part for them as they were NOT flushing the server.
At any rate, after that, simply replace the WorldMail with some other (in this case, e5.5) software that answers to the smtp port call.
In the case of e5.5, you then stand up OL2K on each workstation, import the mail into OL PST, and then further transfer the mail and whatnots into the users account up on the e5.5

There is no automated method that I know of.

They are are going to be using Exchange 2000 next year but I wanted to put them on 5.5 for now as they do not have an AD structure in place.

Subject: WorldMail to Exchange conversion

Hi,

I was wondering what the best route would be to do a Worldmail to Exchange 5.5 conversion? Are there any good tools for this? I want to be able to scan the Worldmail messages and move all *.new files to the exchange server... Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Darrin Carter
