Title: RE: The recipient could not be processed because it would violate the security policy in force

They are probably filtering the subject line to prevent hoaxes from getting in.

From Symantec's web site:

The following message has been sent by email. It is a hoax.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The hoax message is similar to the following:

Warning on December 31, 1999 you may receive an email called, Happy New Year...do not open it, it contains a deadly virus...it will erase windows from your computer along with many other program files.Pass this on as soon as you can to get the WORD out!!!This is not a hoax....this was reported on CNN on Tuesday the 2nd November 1999!

aaaah....the recipient's rejecting mail with that subject at the server....pretty sure there is a virus going round that uses the subject 'happy new year', but it's my dinner break, and I can't be bothered to look up it's name...

The user can not send any mail to this one user.  However, she gave us an alternate address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and he had the same problem.

When I go to the message tracking center, the message that I sent, I see the last two lines as:
        SMTP: Started Outbound Transfer of Message
        Message transferred to damgwp01.corp.sprint through SMTP

When I look at his messages, I see:

Here is a header from one of the NDR's:

Does this show that it never left my system?

Can the user get any email to her, or is he just not getting one particular one through? Can the user get the email through to any other address in her domain? Has anyone contacted her to make sure she has not had his address purposely blocked?

Now you understand why I changed the name?

The user here that is trying to email her has been sending email to her at that address successfully for months.  It just stopped working today.  I rebooted the server this morning.

It appears that my system is keeping it from even going out (only one user is having trouble sending to that address).

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

      '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' on 1/3/02 11:24 AM
            The recipient could not be processed because it would violate the security policy in force
            <bemail.BEDOMAIN.BEAP.COM #5.7.0 smtp;550 5.7.0 Message rejected.>

I forgot, Exchange 2000 with SP2.

Is it any message? Or a specific one?

It may contain key words that are not allowed.

What is the user's name, is it Dick, or some other word that may be considered offensive?

I have a user that is having trouble sending mail to one person outside of our company.  No one else is having trouble sending to the same email address.

I can not seem to find any information relevant to my particular issue.

                The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

                      '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' on 1/3/02 11:24 AM
                            The recipient could not be processed because it would violate the security policy in force
                            <mydomain #5.7.0 smtp;550 5.7.0 Message rejected.>

Has anyone ran into this and know a fix?
