Appearance as post instead of email in Public Folder:
If you
put a mailbox with a forwarder in front of the public folder then incoming mails
should appear as emails instead of posts.
mailbox address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
forwards to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
In
this case you can hide the public folder.

Betreff: External emails apearing as posts to public folders instead of emails & send on behalf of public folders issueWell the subject sais it all really. For instance this list actually subscribed to by a public folder on my exchange 2000 system (exchange, [EMAIL PROTECTED]) which I (obviously as i can post/email to the list) have, along with a select few in my dept, have send on behalf rights to. This works except it would be nice (like in 5.5 for send on behalf of joe blogs) if it would say in the from field after the msg was sent: Russ Bathurst on behalf of Exchange. This would be a nice thing for other departments i dont actually mind it not doing that on this particular folder. And then we come to the other thing, all external emails and some internal to the exchange system emails to any public folders appear as posts instead of emails. Anyone know any solutions to these issues?Russ
