Exchange 5.0 to Exchange 5.5 on Winnt 4.0 Sp6a

I have an old Exchange 5.0 box. I have purchased an HP Netserver LP 2000r, 1Ghz, 2GB ram, 72 GB of Raid 5 HD space.

I would like to just install Exchange 5.5 sp4 on the new server and then migrate the mailboxes over to it.

I believe this is very innocent of me and I think I will be screwing myself this way.

I have browsed slipstick but I don't see a migration strategy from 5.0 to 5.5.

Can anyone help me not screw myself?????
