Exchange5.5 = IMS
Exchange2000 = SMTP connector (or SMTP Virtual Server)

ADC is still in place, right?

Subject: SMTP Connector in Mixed Mode Environment

        I have been asked this question by management, and i know the answer but i need to clarify for my boss.

        Current Environment:
        Exchange 5.5 and E2k running in mixed mode.

        Situation:
        Want to remove the smtp connector from the 5.5 server completely and only run the e2k smtp.  The question is if i remove the smtp conector, how will the internet       mail be rerouted to the e2k server?

        Thanks!

        Brian
