And also unless you have multiple databases in Exchange 2000, in which
case there's a copy of the message in each database.  And in each set of
transaction logs if you've multiple storage groups.  Didn't someone say
on the other list that SIS is less important now?  :-)

one message, with multiple pointers.

unless you have mailboxes on another server, then there will be another
message on that server, with multiple pointers.

The message (and all pointers) is not deleted, until EVERYONE deletes
their copy/pointer to the message

Hello All,

When a message sent to " all " in an organization, does the message
reside on all mailboxes (multiple copies) or will it be one copy on the
server with a pointer? Little worried about the disk space.
