You can do it programmatically. The way we do it is to add a "filter" to the DL itself. This is an LDAP string which specifies you want this DL to contain all mailboxes which contain, for instance, Custom Attribute 10 = Accounts. A program goes through the Directory, plucks out these filters and builds the lists.
I can give you the code and you could adapt it. It's just a question of changing the DL build part to build E2K groups.
