I think you have to install the exchange ver of active directory users and groups snap
in off of the cd.

Subject: E2K attributes not available in ad users and computers after
installing E2K

helo
I have a Windows 2000 domain with two DC's and an E2K box. All servers have
Win2k sp2 installed. After installing E2K the exchange attributes for users
such as exchange tasks and email etc are unavailable on the DC's in Active
irectory Users and Groups snap-in. I did not run forestprep and domainprep
as per
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/TechNet/prodtechn
ol/exchange/maintain/featusability/preputil.asp which states that if you
install E2K as Enterprise and Schema admin the setup automatically does
this.

When I create a new user I am not even prompted to creat a new mailbox for
the user unless I do this locally on the Exchange box.

Questions:
Is this article correct?
What can I do to get make these attributes appear?

Thanks in advance
