Right, I think I am the king of ADC replication heheheheh after working with ms we developed several Q articles when I was done .. unfortunatley hehe

Anyway, install e2k, and do not put an ADC on there.. They should run independent of each other I would manually move some mailboxes from the ex55 to win2k and then migrate over in time. You will have to modify the clients as well.

Not if you want to keep them separate.. Dont do ADC, just install Exchange2k. Then 5.5 and 2k will not even know each other exists.

If you mean the connector, no there isn't. Not yet. I still have to load the box, but don't you have to have the connector as part of the setup?

My brain hurts thinking about that ...any ADC yet?

You could build exchange 2k in tandem if you have no ADC, then EXmerge all the stuff over when you were in the mood.

Between Martin, William, and Kevin (the Exchange Gods!) I'm hoping to get a little help here.

Unfortuantely I don't have resources for a test lab, so I have to wing it a bit. I currently have a mostly migrated W2K network with Exchange 5.5 SP4 running on NT4 SP6. What I want to do is load W2K server on another box with E2K and have it run parrellel/in tandem to my current system for testing purposes. Providing that it runs well, rehome all the users and public folders, rebuild my other server with a fresh install, then move everything back and leave the other system as a clustered environment for redundancy.

Is this scenario doable or is there a better way?
