Right, I think I am the king of ADC replication heheheheh after working with ms we developed several Q articles when I was done .. unfortunatley hehe   Anyway, install e2k, and do not put an ADC on there.. They should run independent of each other I would manually move some mailboxes from the ex55 to win2k and then migrate over in time. What I want to do is load W2K server on another box with E2K and have it run parrellel/in tandem to my current system for testing purposes.
