Got it working...did an eseutil /r, deleted the logs, ran an isinteg -patch, and then service packed it again to 4, restarted and all was good....Thanks Tom for your suggestions. Steve

It's a "FEATURE"! I love my job. I won't be surprised if that is the case. -----Original Message----- From: Cross, Tom [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, May 01, 2002 1:09 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Recovery server Have you tried to remove the RIP key after they replay? I have always recovered from NT4 to Win2k or NT4 to NT4, so I don't know if that poses a problem. I wouldn't be surprised! Make sure they are all there and that you have the right high and low log numbers. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Ens [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, May 01, 2002 1:47 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Recovery server Before the restore? When I restore the IS, like all the TIDS say, I can never get the IS to start. The error I get is related to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q200941. Basically I want to start the IS and then exmerge some data out. I am using arcserve 2k with sp3 and restoring to a non-production server with the same site ID and org names. The events I get are 1080 and 5000.
