Running mcafee netshield and all security fixes. Its been like this since the install.. I just recently had a lot of people who need to use OWA

 

Server was installed almost 13 months ago.

Have to be careful when you run the fix tool for nimda it changes Admin permissions on your system...

BTW, as far as I know not all version of Nimda can be cleaned.

Any services that run under IIS will auto stop at what seems like random intervals when infected with Nimda.  We have cleaned/quarantined all of the files on one of our servers and it still acts funny.

Nimda causes this. Have you applied the last security fix?

I have the following installed no the server:

Exchange 2000 with sp2

MS Windows 2k with sp2

OWA

 

The virtaul site for OWA stopps on it own. I have to restart the site to get it back up again. Then it goes down again after a few days. Anyone know why it does this? and how to correct?
