Have
you gotten a bounce indicating that you are being blocked? If your net
space is on one or several blacklists, that doesn't necessarily mean that *all*
users *everywhere* on the Internet will be blocking you.
Check
your SMTP logs and see what happens when you send a
message...
Third party AYE.NET Email provider using pop and
smtp. AYE.NET has opened up my email to allow me to find out why I am
black listed. But more and more it is looking like my ISP has someone in
my NETBLOCK that is spamming or being accussed of it and the lists are
blocking the entire subnet of 12.*.*.*

Nope nothing there. Internet Mail
service is uninstalled.

If you open the Exchange admin and click on connections, Internet
mail service do you see a bunch of email waiting to be delivered in the
outbound queue? Or if you click on the routing tab is the option to
re-incoming mail selected? These are ways to check and see if you're
currently relaying mail or potentially setup to
relay.
Nope. I am just a simple Credit
Union with simple users. Nothing fancy like spam lists or
otherwise.

I don't understand this. I have
an ISP att.net and they have given my DSL Router a static
IP. I have a PIX firewall and the address there is
static. My Internet email is provided by Aye.Net. They
have received my list IP's from the Router and Firewall as Black
Listed. I have gone to the three sites they say they
retrieved the black listings from and I see my two IP's on the
list resolving back to my ISP. But I don't see why the IP's are
Black Listed.
Can anyone explain this and how I can
prevent it from happening again. (My Company is on probation
with the email provider to find out the cause of this black
listing.) My Exchange server resides on the internal side of
the firewall. It does not have Internet Mail Connector
added.
Exchange is 5.5 sp4 on a NT 4.0
Sp6a.
Any help is
appreciated. Humor is welcomed at this
