Notes backs up fine provided the admin has any kind of clue. It's an admin headache in some cases, but for the most part it is still a functional product.
I just happen to hate it for various reasons. Administration is one of those reasons, but reliability is not. -----Original Message----- From: David N. I am not sure if the last two companies I have outsourced at, if it was REALLY bad hardware, really bad admin or really bad email servers (Notes 4 and 5). They only backed up successfully 50% of the time. They corrupted easily. -----Original Message----- From: Dimitri Limanovski [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, July 03, 2002 2:06 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Re: Is it possible.. Nah, we got bought out by another company that uses Notes. Don't get me wrong, it's a powerful product by damn it's horribly written and nightmare to use/deploy/manage!! Anyway, thanks for your suggestions - I was able to empty out Calendar but Notes Migration tool blows up nevertheless.. Off to Notes mailing list.. See ya! Must be day before a holiday. You truly have odd management. Do they work for Lotus Notes? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matthew Carpenter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "MS-Exchange Admin Issues" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, July 03, 2002 12:00 PM Subject: Re: Is it possible.. I have not heard of anyone migrating that direction, sorry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dimitri Limanovski" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "MS-Exchange Admin Issues" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, July 03, 2002 11:36 AM Subject: Is it possible.. Does anyone know if it's possible to delete all entries in user's Calendar? Sadly, unlike the rest of the normal world, we're migrating from Exchange to Notes and I'm having problem migrating one user over. Notes Migration tool blows up while migrating items in his Calendar and I'd like to export it out to PST first and then delete either the whole folder or it's contents, if possible.. Server: Exchange5.5 SP4, client: Outlook2000 SR2. Thanks in advance!
