If youre setup with the outlook security model, install sp2, and use the public folder called outlook security settings to allow yourself to open the attachments fully.

If you mean SP2 for Office 2000, there is no fix. You need to do an uninstall and then reinstall Office. Then omit the SP2 upgrade.

Subject: outlook question
I installed Office SP-1 because I had no choice. Now I can't open many attachments without saving them first. I know this can be changed in the registry, does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks,
Joe Irvine
