However I verified that the GC is online and working. What I am seeing on Mail server event log: "Process MAD.EXE (PID=4444) Topology Discovery Failed error (0xffffff) Another one: NSPI Proxy cannot contact any Global Catalog that supports The NSPI service. New Clients will be refused until a Global Catalog is available. After a domain controller is promoted to a GC It must be rebooted to support MAPI client. I rebooted the GC but the above still keeps coming up. That sounds more like your GC is going offline. What are the first couple of events in the chain? Regards, Michael B. Smith MCSE/Exchange MVP http://TheEssentialExchange.com From: Dennis Rogov [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, February 26, 2008 2:49 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Recipient Policy Hi Guys I have exchange 2003 server in an AD 03 environment. My global and enterprise recipient update services are configured to one DC server within the configuration it states to always run for both of them. All of sudden I started to receive alerts in my event viewer and my users started complain their outlook is requesting for password. Once I reboot the Domain Controller it clears out the issue for couple of hours but then starts up again. Should I go ahead and increase the replication to an hour or a day would this solve the problem?
