Ok, this is a request to the great minds on this list. Current Domain Functional Level = Win2k Mixed Current Forest Functional Level = Win2k
DCs = Win2k3 Exchange 2003 & Exchange 2000 (exchange 2000 only being used for IM capabilities) Looking at the need to set up a trust with another Win2k3 forest. As such need to raise the Functional Level to 2003 to take advantage of the forest level trusts. I've been researching the steps and call me paranoid (Murphy's desk is just over the wall from me), but I want to make sure I don't miss something. Have any of you done this? What sort of problems did you run into? What pitfalls do I need to watch for? Will the Exchange 2000 IM break? Any answers greatly appreciated and pointers to docs appreciated as well.
