1) Is Microsoft still trying to get rid of public folders? 2) What do they want us to use instead?
3) We're creating a task list within a public folder and need to know: a. Is it possible to add to the Master Category list, and have it show up for all users of the public folder? b. Is it possible to make a "default" view of the public folder showing specific columns and information? I understand that Outlook is a client-side application, therefore making it difficult to make the above changes, but I need to know for sure, so I can inform my manager. What she's trying to accomplish is creating an IT project list, to keep track of the big stuff that's on the horizon. I don't think she wants to go the Microsoft Project route.
