I find Message Tracking GUI to be very frustrating; you can only specify one HT
server at a time. Using Powershell may be different. And yes, since any HT
server in a site can be chosen, you need to track messages through all of them
to get the results you desire.

Hi All,

case 1

I was tracking a message on E2K7 in an AD site which has 5 HT servers. I
logged onto the Mbx server and tracked the message, which didn't yield any
result. then i logged onto one of the HT server and tracked the mail and could
see some results.

I wonder when there are so many HT server in an AD site which server is
preferred for tracking, as the mails can choose any one of the HT server for
mail transport and hence traking on only server may not provide the required
result??

case 2

I was tracking a message on one of the E2K7 server which is MB,HT,CA roles. i
received server mails from one of the users housed on this particulor server.
When i tacked i didn't yield any results for me !!!

Any help to lead me to the right direction would be greatly appriciated.

Regards,
Swamy
