O/S: Win2k3, SP2 Exchange: 2003, SP2 I've a question regarding storage of data in Exchange. I understand that a message sent to multiple recipients will have single instance storage per Data Store. "The idea behind single instance storage is that if a message is addressed to multiple recipients, and these recipients are located on the same database, the message is stored just once." Or in the case of multiple recipients across multiple databases, the message is stored just once per database. If that message contains an attachment - Does the attachment utilize the same single instance storage per Data Store (database)? I don't think it does, but need to ask the question to the more knowledgable group. Wendell
