We are going to be looking at a Ex2003 > Ex2007 move sometime in the near future and also planning on installing a Unified Communications Server
Currently we have 3 active servers and 1 standby server in a clustered environment running Ex2003 with about 4700 users. The biggest mailbox being 2.1gb and about 25k items accessed via VPN on a 2mb pipe. This will get reduced in size once we are allowed to archive these users with EAS. The plan is to put Ex2007 onto VMWare. Does any one have any tips/info/gotchas for running Exchange 2007 on VM? Is there a Exchange 2007 sizing guide document? Im not sure on the spec of the VM boxes as I don't deal with this area.
