For better or worse, there are a couple of them in my user base.
There was absolutely nothing special involved in getting them to work.
 Same as setting up WinMobile or iPhone.  Point at the Exchange server
over https, enter credentials appropriately, done.

Our setup may be different from yours, but it is an extremely vanilla
Exchange 2003 SP2 deployment.  I have always kept it that way for ease
of management.  Consequently, ActiveSync has literally worked for
years without issue no matter what platform has been pointed at it.
