You would need to add the new SMTP address to the users and set it as primary by using RUS. Proper setting of your DNS records externally will ensure proper transfer of mail in and out. You cannot change the domain of the server itself without doing a complete rebuild of the whole server. My attempt to migrate a 2003 SBS server to a 2008 SBS server failed, and I had to use a different domain internally. Works fine. What are the implications if I want to change the current mail domain from 123.com to 456.com? Has anyone ever done this? Thanks in advance!
