Agreed on the delegates, we have numerous calendar issues, 99% of them are
folks with delegates *and* multiple devices. Also these same folks use
distribution lists in meeting requests, another "not recommended" situation.

In olk2k3 we set the default sharing to reviewer thus any one can see others
calendars. We consider the calendar like email to be a company resource. If
users want to add personal events, they can still make the event private.

Delegates can be a huge PITA.

Subject: Outlook Configuration

Our staff calendars are shared by making the Office Staff distribution list a
delegate to everyone's calendar. I seriously question whether that is the best
approach, and could see how that kind of non-standard configuration might be a
cause for calendaring problems (especially since having more than one delegate
is against Microsoft's recommendation).

Does anyone have a best practice document they can send me to?

Thanks!
