In REGEDIT, "registry keys" are displayed as folders. So key==folder. The things that appear in the right pane are "registry values". What are the permissions on the key in question? That is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\Application\ You can find out by right-clicking the folder icon for the key in question, and choosing "Permissions". Chances are, the permissions on that key don't grant everything needed to the user account you're using to run the Exchange uninstaller. -- Ben
