The users in domain2 are accessing the exchange box in domain1. Their mailboxes are all linked boxes. Though what I did note is that if I setup a mailbox as a standard user mailbox and setup outlook on a PC in domain2, it prompts me for credentials. I put in the credentials for the same user account in domain1 and with that outlook I can share things in the mailbox, I just cant do it with the linked mailboxes. I don't understand what's wrong and I've googled the hell out of it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Eric Woodford To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Sent: Friday, August 27, 2010 11:42 AM Subject: Re: Linked mailboxes cant share mailboxes
Do the domain2 users have mailboxes in the same Exchange environment? Should be easy if so. Similar environment here with users across 26 diff trusted domains. Here is my scenario, I have two domains in separate forests, domain1 and domain2, there is a two way trust between them. On domain1 we have an Exchange 2007 server. The users in domain2 are setup with linked mailboxes. The problem I'm having is that users in domain2 can't share for example, their calenders, with other users in domain2. Anyone have any idea how to do that? James --- You are currently subscribed to exchangelist as: [email protected].
