No. There is no store encryption in Exchange 2003. Or in Exchange 2007 or 2010.

Exchange 2007/2010 encrypt all TRANSFERS.

If you want store encryption, enable bitlocker.

I remember reading in the past that the entire internal mail process for 
Exchange 2007 was encrypted - in transport and in the store, I assume.

What about 2003?  Just the store?  So if someone steals a HD and tries to 
recover messages from the store, they will fail, right?
