Do you have a Spam filter of some sort in front of the mail server? That can
cause a backup if it's not functioning.

Subject: RE: Exchange Transport Service not starting

Yes that created new database, and a lot of emails then were delivered. But now
emails have stopped being delivered again. and getting Event 15004
MSExchangeTransport Resource pressure increased.

CPU usage 50-80% and is being consumed by EdgeTransport.exe Physical memeory
76% HDD space 71 GIG free

mail.que is increasing in size and also the number of .log files is increasing.

Queue Viewer does not show any items to be dilivered.

How do I determine what is causing the back pressure? and stopping the emails
from being delivered.

Thanks
