In Exchange 2010, that should not be necessary.

In earlier versions of Exchange, because of caching, if you didn't restart
MSExchangeIS it could take up to 2 hours for the changes to be recognized.

And don't you need to restart some services to get it to stick after the change?

There are AT LEAST three places, and up to five, that need to be modified.

Receive connector, send connector if you have multiple HTs, global limit,
mailbox store limit and/or per-user limit.

Subject: Email not going through with large attachment

Good morning all,

Ex2010 and I'm trying to send an email with a 75mb PDF attachment relaying from
a MFP. Small attachments <tested upto 6mb> work fine from this scanner, but now
the large attachment is hung up in the queue.

I modded the send/receive connections from the default 10mb to 100mb <before
trying the large attachment> and restarted the Exchange Transport Service. I
see the email sitting in the submission queue, but it's been there for an hour
now. Same person it's being sent to <me>.

I'll pretend that I'm American and that this is my Monday! Happy belated
Memorial Day!

Any ideas?

TIA
Cameron
