Get-PublicFolderStatistics -server "Server Name" works in E2007. (I haven't
used 2010 yet)

Run it for each server and compare the numbers. If you run it several times,
you should see the numbers rising on the new server.

The public folder DB on the Exchange 2003 server is less than 800mb. I'll wait
a few more hours but if someone knows a way to check the status to at least
verify that it is actually replicating, I would appreciate the tip.

I'll let others who are more knowledgeable on this stuff answer in depth (be
kind of interested to find out myself), but in a nutshell, a few hours is
nothing so don't be concerned yet.

This is a very crude gauge, but look in the log folder for your public store -
you'll soon know when stuff starts replicating as the logs will jump right up -
check you have enough space for the logfiles as one thing the documentation
doesn't make entirely clear, even though it's kind of a given, is that to
replicate 50gb of public folders you're going to end up with at least 50gb of
logs.

It has been a few hours. Is there a way to check how far along it is or a
message to indicate when it is complete?

How long have you waited? PF replication takes time and can seem to have a
mind of its own IME. Probably a bit late now but when we migrated (which we're
still in the middle of) I added the new server to the replica list of small
subsets of folders and just sat back and waited.

Subject: Public Folder with OWA
Hello,

I'm in the process of migrating from Exchange 2003 Standard to Exchange 2010
Enterprise. Everything is working except for one item. When logged into a
2010 mailbox via OWA, you cannot access the public folder. The error message
is, "The public folder you're trying to access couldn't be found. If the
problem continues, contact your helpdesk and tell them the following: The
public folder couldn't be found because there is no Exchange 2010 public folder
server."

There is definitely an Exchange 2010 public folder database on the server.
I updated the public folder hierarchy with "Update-PublicFolderHierachy"
I added the Exchange 2010 to replication with AddReplicaToPFRecursive
-TopPublicFolder "\" -Server (2010 Server) and AddReplicaToPFRecursive
-TopPublicFolder "\NON_IPM_SUBTREE" -Server (2010 Server)
I updated the content with "Update-PublicFolder"

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Prayer
