All,

One of our staff tried to send an email to kenwood-electronics.co.uk.
I've got the SMTP logs, and it shows our Exchange server talking with
193.93.175.84.

Dig shows that that IP address is the A record for Kenwood in the UK,
and not any of the MX records - that firm uses maildefender.net.

OTOH, there *is* a mail server at that IP address - mail3.iztzg.hr,
and of course it refused to relay for kenwood-electronics.co.uk.

So, my question is, where should I look to start troubleshooting why
my Exchange server sometimes erroneously uses the A record when there
is a clear MX record available?

Thanks,

Kurt
