I have a test lab with Exchange 2007 SP3 installed on Windows 2008 R2. I've run the backups using Windows Server Backup. I used the following instructions:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee221172(v=exchg.80).aspx The backup process completes, but when I try to restore from the backup, I get the following error: The applicatoin extension plug-in failed to perform the pre-recovery steps for the component. Any ideas would be great!
