Thank you guys, I take it just the Autodiscovery DNS change is needed externally in this senario? -----Original Message----- From: Michael B. They should be avoided except in case of a "real need". -----Original Message----- From: Joseph L. I wondered how people do this automatically, the docs suggest the best approach is a single fqdn with a low ttl and a manual dns update if needed. I suppose based on the myriad of potential reasons an automatic update could be wrong, you might want it done manually. As I understand it, disabling cross site connections in sp1+ allows the redirect without the RPCClientAccessServer change, so just a dns update is all thats needed. jlc --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist
