Just don't delete them. No reason to do so. From: Stu Packett [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, June 25, 2012 9:34 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Determine 2003 First Administrative Group After Being Renamed
I'm working in a mixed environment with 2003/2007/2010 and slowly I'm migrating users to 2010. Along the way, I'm able to decommission the legacy Exchange servers. However, each 2003 Administrative Group is specific to the AD site's name and the "First Administrative Group" has been renamed. I would like to complete the decommissioning / cleanup process, but I have no idea which is the renamed "First Administrative Group", so I haven't deleted any administrative groups yet because I'm worried about deleting the "first" one which would cause free/busy problems for the existing legacy users. How does one determine the 2003 "First Administrative Group" after it has been renamed? Thanks in advance. --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe exchangelist
