Even if the assistant is supremely trusted and trustworthy, mistakes happen, and nothing should happen in anyone's communications (especially an executive's) to which the owner doesn't have access. Even simple meeting requests can (will) contain more than a date and time, and she will be speaking with the Director's voice.
