Tend to agree with Bindu. The shares were never meant to be priced at what
they are. If this was not exposed, many more people would have invested in
the shares and the loss could have been much more than what it is now.
People would have continued to believe in the net worth of the company (
The balance sheet showed a cash and bank balance of over 7500 crores out
of which more than 7000 does not even exist).

It is not the government but the management who was playing with lives of
so many employees. The truth is out now and atleast the employees have a
choice of making an informed decision. This is better than the company
suddenly going bankrupt one fine day.

This seems a very well planned conspiracy which could not have been done
by one person. Once the investigation starts, many heads are likely to
roll.

Cheers,
Jatinder

Hi Nirmohan,

All I can say I that it is a blow on the corporate governance.

Integrity cannot be bought.Either one has Integrity or one does not have
Integrity (it cannot be 99.999%)

Hence if money is the sole driver, then values are not required.

To err is human, but to err knowingly is deceit...and that is what has been
done by Satyam's Corporate team.

The question we may ask is that : IS IT OK to be corrupt to succeed ??

Have a good Day

Bindu
